This is one of the best books I have read on learning to access the wisdom we all carry within us. Although I have used workbook formats in the past that did not really inspire me, this one really did draw me into interacting with the author's ideas via the text. The format works well for learning intuition, since you work through the techniques chapter by chapter, rather than simply read about them. The book is very well-organized. It starts out discussing just what intuition is and how using your intuition can help you. It then proceeds to teach how to work with your inner self, both for practical problem solving and for spiritual growth. Chapter headings include Centering, Receptivity, Interpreting Images from the Intuitive Mind, and Achieving Mental Clarity. There are sections on working with your dreams, meditation, and using intuition to succeed in the workplace. This listing only scratches the surface of what the book offers however. The author has included, in addition to a very complete text, an end section with reading suggestions and additional resources. I have used the book for a number of years now, and every time I come back to it I gain something new. I highly recommend it.

However, in this book you will discover how those "feelings" that often guide your decision making can be identified, developed to become and incredibly useful skill in both decision making and the creative process. Dr. Emery's "students" include some of the country's top executives and business leaders. Easy to use and follow.

I expected a lot more from this title but found myself fairly disappointed with it

This book guides the reader through the process of building a fairly barebones 3D First Person shooter with LibGDX. I expected a lot more from this title but found myself fairly disappointed with it. The book firstly doesn't offer very much explanation of the code throughout. It more so presents it to you and says "this section does X." It is 220ish pages in length and 50 are set aside for teaching modeling, rigging, and animating in Blender. While this is a useful skill for creating the 3D artwork within the game, I feel as though more of the books content could be used to describing the functionality of the classes we used that come in LibGDX, the classes created within the example projects, and covering more advanced projects within the scope of 3D game creation. This book will get you up and running a 3D game created with LibGDX but I think more explanation throughout would have been halpful and rather than scratching the surface and spending so much on 3D asset creation instead delve into more advanced topics that could be implemented within the example project.

Cutting edge, but needs work

This text book is extraordinarily detailed, and provides not only the concepts, but the theory and nuance for beginning in remote sensing. While studying this book, in detail, I have run into the following complaints, though:

1) The glossary and index are so incomplete, they're desolate. Important and conceptual terms that are used are not in either - it makes using the book quite difficult.

2) There is WAY too much minutia - the text is very informative, but I've found that the explanations of most things are excessively verbose.

3) Remote sensing is a very visual field.... and this book doesn't utilize diagrams and images nearly as much as it could/should. I realize that generating diagrams is time-consuming, but it would help this book immensely.

4) Chapter summaries and concept-based questions at the end of the chapters would probably help students a lot, too (perhaps even teachers).

5) There's not nearly enough talk about which EM bands see what, and what they help with. That's the entire basis of remote sensing, and it isn't explored in the detail that it could be.

So, while I recommend this text, because it is one-of-a-kind, I do so with the warning that it is obviously not a fine-tuned text yet.

This book gives good coverage of a broad range of topics. It gives technical details to various network threats, and countermeasures. The problem is the book is to short. It needs about 100 more pages with more detail on each topic.
